Saturday 6/28 “Murph”


On June 28th, 2005 in the mountains of the Kunar Provence in Afghanistan an element from SEAL team 10 was compromised during operation Red Wings.  Three SEALs, including LT. Mike Murphy, lost their lives as a result.  16 other members of US Special Operations were killed attempting to rescue them.   This workout honors Murph but also the other slain heroes of Operation RW & RW2.

Training of the Day
For time:
1 mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile Run
*Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you’ve got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.
