Alex began CrossFit in 2018 and has been coaching since 2021. He has a foundation in teaching yoga and leading Yoga Teacher Trainings that began in 2016. Fitness has been part of Alex’s life for as long as he can remember.
Alex’s earliest childhood memories involve early morning training sessions to combat his severe asthma and allow him to live a normal childhood. That early relationship with training shaped how he views fitness, not merely as a tool for performance or aesthetics, but as a necessary catalyst for personal growth. He started weight training (poorly) in high school for baseball and rediscovered his love for the barbell in 2017 to support his yoga practice before falling in love with the objectivity of CrossFit and other barbell sports.
CrossFit resonates with Alex because he believes it is the most efficient and effective way to unite people around a shared goal and positively impact their lives at the same time.
Alex’s coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that the gym, when approached with intent, is the most powerful setting for learning about who you are as a person and meeting challenges that will both reveal and develop character. He finds purpose in helping others solve problems, reach goals, find confidence, and navigate the path of personal transformation.

FUN FACT: Outside the gym, one of Alex’s happy places is—unfortunately—watching Rockies baseball, preferably in person.
